[CQ-Contest] Spirit of the Contest

Right on. But how about different power limits in different countries ?
For instance, High Power category (USA) equals 1500 W, and same category
(YO) is just 400 W (roughly 1 S-unit). In order to level the play field,
is it in the SPIRIT of the contest to use a 1500W power amplifier, even
though it is in contradiction with the wording of the rules (remember:
to abide to the rules of own country) ?

Just a thought.
