I don't know why this is so hard to understand:
"My best 30 hours against your best 30 hours."
You pick the operating times that will best impact your score. It's that
simple. Yes, the east coast can always work lots of EU, west coast can work
lots of AS. Hopefully each will get some of the other.
It's the same anywhere in the world--my best against your best. Pick your
openings and go get 'em!

Re: "It will lower the scores"
What's the difference if you beat me 8M - 7M or 4M - 3M? You still beat me.

Re: "I've invested so much in my station, I want to be able use it to the max"
This is a non-issue--no one forces anyone to invest X amount of money. It's
strictly personal choice.

Re: WPX DXpeditions
While it's certainly easier (and fun!) to run up big numbers from sunny
islands, here again, it's personal choice. If you want to go, you go. With a
DL2 counting the same as a KP2, in reality, DXpeditions probably have more
effect on the local economy of wherever than they do on the overall results of
the contest. You will, however, be the envy of all your friends when you come
back with that great tan!
