[CQ-Contest] DX & Contest Forums NOT @ Hara Arena

The Hamvention's moving the DX and Contest Forums has not been a secret.
Information of the change has been announced on their web site for
months.

There goes dozens of meetings outside the drapes.

Remember that Forum Room #1 is in a prime corner of a commercial exhibit
area.

Officials say that the reason for the move to Meadowdale School is
because the drapes that section off the forum room are being replaced
and the forums will be back where they normally were next year.

That is of course in they don't have commercial dealers occupy that
space this year and expect to use it again next year.

This is a perfect example of the declining Hamvention attendance causing
them to look for other means of making money (more exhibitors). The
disappearing motel buses are a good example of that. Even the required
handicapped parking has been moved to a more distant location and now
costs $10. 

There are several areas changed this year worth giving some thought to
and comments to Hamvention officials.
