Thanksgiving weekend...... Mmmmm, what's that?  Oh yes, an AMERICAN ONLY
holiday.  Why change the long-standing tradition of when the event is
held, so it is more suitable for a fraction of the entrants?  The new
date might be very unsuitable for the rest of the world.

If you're going to change contest dates because they clash with
holidays, then can I suggest that IARU gets changed as it clashes with
the main holiday period in Northern Ireland.

Anyone else got any bids for other contests?
