[CQ-Contest] 2nd Radio Contesting

Hi all
I've been looking around for a 2nd radio for contesting to go with the 
840. I thought maybe a TS-440 as a friend here in town has one.  I 
checked the want ads on QTH.COM and was surprised. There are a LOT of 
440's for sale. Is there something wrong with them or what? It seems like 
there are more 440's for sale than any other rig. Are there many 440's 
being used for a 2nd radio. Incidently, only saw 2 840's in about 100
