[CQ-Contest] Traveling with computer

I am in need of help. In planing a Operation from Z3 for WPX we are looking
at taking a computer with us. NOT A LAPTOP! What is the best way to haul a
monitor on an airplane?
Would it be best to try and find a small 9 inch monitor or similiar size
that could go in a carry on, or what?
I am scared of the way they handle luggage, or should I just pack it real
well and not worry about it?
Anyone ever do this...if so was there an extra charge to take it?

If all else fails we could look for a laptop I guess...
