[CQ-Contest] The contest has ENDED !!

     What was the ORIGINAL intent of Contesting????    CD Parties, SS and others.....I have always been brought up that this was an EXERCISE to test and improve the ability you could exchange information CORRECTLY in times of an EMERGENCY.  SS was a good one for this because of the amount of info you needed to correctly copy and send. 

   I would think that during an EMERGENCY how many people would want someone to copy something "Half-Assed" (Can I say that??) pass the info anyway and then send a corrected version 4 weeks later!!!

   Hmmm.......But times have changed and I think we have all lost what the ORIGINAL intent of all this stuff was for...Its now a competition of who can be the most creative AFTER the contest.   

    Just an Idea.....
