Why should your company pay for the on-line service costs of thousands
of e-mail messages a year?  The networks are expensive to maintain.
Using the networks for personal use increases the traffic, and therefore
the costs to keep it up and running.  Not to mention the
subsciption/connection to the Internet.

These costs... perhaps should be added to the employee's Annual
Statement of Benefits?

Oh, no... the IRS (Congress?) might decide to tax that benefit, too ...
