MODE: SSB only
Exchange: Signal report plus serial number starting with 001.
Points: QSOs with HR2RCH       20 Points
        QSOs with HR2 or HR5   10 Points
        QSOs with other stations  5 Points

Multipliers: Call areas in each country worked.

I understand exactly what you mean.  Nothing is more
frustrating than hearing a "foreign language" come back
to you.  If, however, your intent is to "better your CW",
then there is no better way than to learn from the "super-op"
population which is most available on a contest weekend.
"Cut numbers" is a not a technique which has it's roots
in contesting, but in professional and military Morse
operators who took every opportunity to make their
transmissions most effective. No one appeared in contesting
as a super-op, but those guys that are (not me) went through
the same frustrations that you express.

You won't need to do it several times, because if I send
you "ENN" and you respond with a "?", I will
immediately send you the exchange in "real" numbers
(599).  If this happens to you 3 or 4 times in a couple
of hours, it likely will become second nature to you
to make the translation subconsciously, and you will
have accomplished part of your "intent to better your
CW".  You win and we win!  Heckuvadeal!
