[CQ-Contest] Bandpass filters

I recently bought a second 419 for my fledgling two-radio setup. I noticed
that
my "old" (~1 year) 419 showed flashing led's when transmitting on my 40/80
antenna, but that my "new" filter didn't. I called ICE and was told that the
new filter probably had bypass caps from the led's to ground whereas my older
unit did not. I check and he was correct; I installed some .01 uf caps and the
flashing went away. I was also told by ICE that installation of the caps would
not void the warranty.
