Now with log checking software, who is going to be the
first to write it into their contesting software programs
n6tr, k8cc or k1ea?

This way they can have more time to operate contests :-)
or to read dumb posts like this one.

    I don't use SCP so it doesn't apply, I did have to resort to my
rather unselective TS-680 and find most errors were missed dits or

    Agree. I defy anyone to discern my zero from the letter "oh" in
pencil. This error has nothing to do with operating skill, rather an
issue of typing skill. Don't think touch typing drills are part of the
test.

    The level of scrutiny was a suprise to me, mebbe I just missed the
warning, but I guarentee if I ascertain that paper logs weren't
scrutinized the same as e-logs without a reasonable qualifier, I will
submit paper next year.

    This won't work. Takes the league some time to admit loosing your
log.

    I have no problem with the need for accurate copy so long as
reasonableness is used. I will certainly rethink SS here. Anticipate
slower CW next year (probably good), more repeats, etc... To those who
get bent when I call you and you say, "Wrkd B4", and refuse to
elaborate, I don't count for you either.and you get the penalties. We
all gonna have to play nice.
