The main reason is the interest of Spanish contesters on CQ WW, as well =
as it happens in other EA/CT-speaking countries.

The second reason is CQ WW promotion by CQ Magazine Spanish edition, =
which acts as logs collecting point for EA/SAm., sponsors many awards =
(you can see the list in September EA edition), and publishes special =
comments on CQ WW results, with some emphasis on Spanish-spoken =
activity.
