Hi OM,
	I know several people who have been asked in the past to
turn on the equipment. You can carry a small lightweight 12V switching
type suppy or even a small power cube since they are typically NOT
going to ask you to TRANSMIT but generally want to see the thing
light up and create some noise.......A 2 Amp cube will power most rigs.
