[CQ-Contest] Xcvrs as carry-ons

In my limited experience, I've had far more trouble with a 2M 5/8-wave whip,
mag mount and its RG8x feedline than I ever did with an HT or HF radio.
Seems the wires show up nicely on the X-ray and make them nervous - like
there was a bom...uh, *device*, attached.  They've never asked me to turn on
the equipment.  I carried on an FT767 HF rig once - not a battery operated
device anyway - what then? I don't think they'd make you drag it over to a
wall outlet (if there is one) to turn it on.

'Course, if you travel the day (or week) after a suspected bomb went off,
all bets are off.
