Visiting http://contesting.com/kc1xx.htm I could not stop noticing a picture
of W3LPL group visiting KC1XX in front of a big Portuguese flag.

I sent and e-mail to Matt asking the reason for that and here is his answer:

"I have flags turned into blinds for all my windows in the radio room.
Every window has a flag for the direction it's facing from the center of
the room.
We found that for the NE window we should have an EU flag and I thought
that CT was the best looking one in that area.
Other Flags are VK, HL, CT, 3DA0, PY,

So now you know KC1XX secret for those big multipliers.

The flags keep reminding the operators for DX openings....
