OK I've read to use QRL, ?, ie etc. That is fine for CW but what the proper 
way for us phone ops to do it?
The only way I know is " Is the frequency in use" That would really cover up 
and exchange if you can't hear the distant or weaker station, this would 
really make the guy mad who is running on the frequency.
