Bill, I respectively disagree.  IF I can break into the top ten for the 
first time in 45 years by flying down to NP2B's place this past weekend, 
it will NOT be a hollow or meaningless victory in my mind.  It is part of 
the strategy of competing in SS and a lot of hard work was done to 
accomplish it.  By your logic, I've "stolen" plaques for single-band 80 
and 40 in the past two ARRL DXCW contests by flying to the Bahamas and 
running 100W to low dipoles.  I take pride in that accomplishment and hung 
the plaques on my shack wall.
