They are called "real DX" and don't need packet cluster connection at all.
The whole world and all the juicy mults will be fighting to work them.

Actually I find difficult to bring up a place where Internet/Packet
connection is not present or available. Just think of the Britons who
connected to their home cluster via a 30m link during the WW from Togo.
