I think you have your facts wrong.  The ZONE is a piece of the exchange 
that you must copy correctly.  It should NOT be filled in by the log 
checking software!

The country (as determined by the callsign) is NOT a piece of the exchange, 
and that IS determined by the log checking software.  So you can work 
FO0DEH and whether he is on Fr. Polynesia, Marquesas or Austral Is., the 
log checking software will give you the proper multiplier credit, even if 
you claimed he was somewhere else from where he really was.
