[CQ-Contest] SO2R & ground loops?

Thanks to all for the suggestions.  I had embarrassingly failed to check
the Radio Shack catalog before posting - they do sell a 1:1 isolation
transformer which several people suggested.  (excuse: continuously
seeing useful stuff discontinued just in time for me to need it<grin>)

Bought one last night, maybe in a few days I'll have time to stuff it in
a box with some connectors & have Don try it...
