A couple of people have asked why their messages haven't been posted recently. The general philosophy is that all messages should go through, but it is not guaranteed.
A message *may* not make it for lots of reasons:
1) it is spam (about 10 per day are deleted)
2) it has a virus (about 2 per day)
3) there is an attachment
4) it is not in text format (turn off html formatting!)
5) there are personal attacks
6) commenters have indicated it's time to move to a new thread
7) you have advocated cheating or tried to tell people how to (really!)
8) your one-word or one-sentence retort doesn't add to the discussion
9) the topic doesn't have anything to do with contesting
10) sometimes the text is modified to delete endless copies of original messages
11) the whim of the list manager (not often used)
Appreciate any input, suggestions or questions.
