[CQ-Contest] Summary: Minimal SO2R

Thanks to everyone who responded so quickly to my query about the minimal
configuration necessary to try SO2R. I've been reluctant to spend a lot of
money on bandpass filters and other specialized hardware because I frankly
don't know whether I'll be able to do SO2R effectively.

Anyway, the consensus opinion is that with QRO on the run station, I will
probably need some form of protection for the second radio, even with
polarity diversity and distance. Several folks commented on the physical
risk to the front end of the second radio without some measures of this
sort. N0AX came up with the clever idea of using quarter-wave 40m stubs on
one or both radios, with toggle switches on the ends, to give attenuation
on 40 and 15 with the stubs open, or 20 and 10 with them closed. As he put
it, this would at least let me find out if "sterner measures" are needed.
