[CQ-Contest] INFO/HELP WITH HY GAIN HDR300 ROTOBRAKE

Can someone tell me what the pot value is for the unit that is inside =
the rotor terminal housing.  Is it 1000 ohms by chance?  Can I replace =
this with a standard 1000 ohm linear pot?  Thank you.=20

PS could certainly use a complete copy of the manual.  Will pay big =
