[CQ-Contest] SS Question

What do you do if you start the SS in high power them decide to
do low power?  I started with the amp on but soon found I didn't
need it so I shut it off.  I stayed with the "B" precedence while
I was on.  Same if you start in low power then decide to turn the
amp on.  Change prec?  73
