Hi Fellow Contesters,
=20
Change of CQ160m contest format to 48 hours with 30 hours counted for =
claiming the final score will be a good news for those of us here in =
Eastern part of Europe.
Such approach allows for some contest strategy and surely will do at =
least a little to level the playing field.

IMHO another change badly needed is accepting the No. of QRB locators as =
a multiplier instead of DXCC list and USA states/VE provinces. 160m band =
differs a lot from other bands and new QRB multipliers plus same scoring =
system as this of Stew Perry Challenge will be eventually appreaciated =
by many of us on this side of the ocean.(BTW I have proposed this change =
back in 1986 or so in Radiosporting magazine )

Presently it is still US sponsored contest made for USA contesters and =
Western part of Europe located stations( specially CW part).(my personal =
opinion !)
