I'm a caffeine addict.

Before every major SO effort, I cut down and then go "cold turkey" for a few
days (American slang for "none at all").

Usually after about 24 hours I start drinking coffee - and after maybe 26-30
hours take my first nap. Then its coffee coffee and more coffee, and maybe a
another short nap.

When the coffee stops working, I switch to Moxie - a high caffeine fairly
high sugar beverage, with herbal extract in it. Moxie is currently only
available in New England, although it predates Coca Cola. Many folks who
didn't grow up on it thinks it tastes like a combo of kerosene/cough
syrup/root beer. Hey, it works for me.

Most importantly, the 24+ hours caffeine free. Not sure if the lack of
caffeine is good, or if it just makes it work better when I start again??
