[CQ-Contest] CQWWDX SSB - 160m - working US/VE stations

Hello all

We're just about to set off on our CQ WW SSB
contest expedition (GZ7V) and we're hoping to
work a lot of US and Canadian stations on 160m
if the conditions are good, but I'm now confused 
about the best frequencies to call and listen on.

In the past we've just called CQ on say, 1863, and
worked stations simplex - has anything changed to
make this not such a good idea ?  We won't be a 
booming signal on 160m but we will be trying our
best.  The Eu QRM may drive us higher up the band
of course.
