[CQ-Contest] Antenna choice

Does anybody have any comments about the Force 12 C4E or C4XL
antennas for contesting purposes.  I am interested in the general
performance and weather surviveablility (I live in Calgary on the
east slopes of the Rockies, possibly similar WX to Denver).
Unfortunately, this is for use in a "small gun" environment with
limited tower / space availability.  The tower is limited to a 9 sq
foot loading.
