[CQ-Contest] Has the black hole turned to gold?

Aggressive solicitation of members is the ticket for SMC, they have a
bazillion mini meetings...dunno how many logs they will end up with for SS
but it is a huge number...i.e. unlimited size

What is the secret to doing well in any contest - making your footprint
match the population hot spots - i.e. currently having a good signal into
the black hole with all its activity is key!

A the top of the cycle location is of less importance, at the bottom of the
cycle location is everything - be it New England for DX Contesting or Florida
for the Ten Meter contest..

K4VX, the black hole beacon, said that here will always be one weekend when
propagation favors any QTH - the question is whether or not the operator is
savvy enough to use this to his advantage...if a good op is ready and
positioned he can have a real ball!
