    Right - you really need a mentor. Many contesters started sitting next to 
a good op during a multi-op effort, even Field Day. That's when they saw how 
it all worked and how FUN it was. Graduates of stations like K4VX, N5AU, 
W3BGN, and many others are some of the best guys around. 

    Maybe the final chapter of the book should be "How To Hook Up With A 
Mentor" or "How To Go To The Next Level". This is where the second book comes 
in with all the subtleties and strategies involved. Proposed title - Amateur 
Radio Contesting - How to win.
