[CQ-Contest] league bashing//tree hugging//results

I find it amusing that a computer oriented constituency such 
as one finds on this reflector would continue to bash the 
league for not printing line scores.  

Both publishing economics and timing favor the web site.
We don't seem to be paragons of progressive thinking on this topic.

Dallas Carter said it well:

"I think we kicked all the air out of this ball 6 months ago.
Many of us wrote to our directors to make our cases, and
it was discussed here ad nausium.  The action has now been
taken, and reflects the feelings of the directors constituancies.
At this point we should give the web alternative a chance.
So far, I like what I see; and I was an opponent of the
proposal."

You may not like the league, but it represents the singular hope for
continuing life in this hobby in the US.  The regulatory agency defers to
ARRL, in pursuit of self-governance in the service.  ARRL's role
is growing.

If you find ARRL flawed, YOU are responsible.  Become involved.
And stop whining.
