[CQ-Contest] A Real Breath of Fresh Air

Friends, Competitors, Colleagues:

A couple of recent posts on the line-score thread mentioned the proposals 
produced by a working group of our contest co-participants. One in particular 
caught my attention by implying that a 21 page document was too long for the 
"attention-span challenged". That prompted me to go get and read the document.

AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID!

As a community, we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to these people who are 
clearly knowledgable and competent writers.

I urge any and all of you who are even remotely interested in contesting, its 
future, and its visibility to go and get that document, read it, digest it 
and think about it. And most of all to use it as blue print for constructing 
and carrying out the publicizing of contesting to the larger ham radio 
community.
