Al is right on target with this issue.

Such pre-arrangements are not "legal".

Pre-arranging for this type of "assistance" crosses the line into
"multi-operator" area.  As most of these other operators are not physically
at the subject station, even this is a violation of the rules.

If they are somehow considered part of a multi-operator or assisted
station's operation (although remote, and ignoring the above for a moment),
self-spotting is also prohibited.

All of this type of activity extends the number of operators and geographic
spread of these operations.  There's nothing in the rules to permit it.

Nor the bad press I would imagine.
