[CQ-Contest] Contests for newcomers - State QSO Parties are GREAT!

W9FQN introduced me to amateur radio by making me learn the code over the
weekend of field day, 1958.  I got my novice license 6 weeks later and will
always treasure those early memories...one crystal at a time!
