The best contest going by far is the Poison 'de Avril contest
which has been running on April 1st for some time (haven't seen
any announcement yet this year).  You can operate any mode you
want, any class (make one up and be sure to win), make up your
own exchanges, etc.  The neat thing about it is that you can
print up your own first place certificate or go buy a plaque and
get it engraved to show your are 1st place finisher, World  No
waiting for results to be published in a magazine, then the long
wait for the prize.  No limit on band changes or how many radios
can be on the air at the same time.  Use packet and be S.O.
