[CQ-Contest] Fishy spots in WPX SSB

Self-spotting is not permitted. But as Jim points out, the ability to police
that is limited to those who submit logs. Contest sponsors only have
authority over those who enter, and if they aren't entering, who cares? Many
single ops use contests merely to expand their DXCC, WAZ or WPX totals.
Can't fault them for that.

Operator spotting: in my book, this is the same as self-spotting. It also
probably violates rules regarding use of other calls during the contest.
And, clearly, it is unlikely that someone would mount a multi-multi or even
multi-single and not intend to enter. So this should probably be taken up by
the sponsors. Failure to address this would, in my view, be an affront to
rule-abiding entrants.

Friend spotting: is there a rule against this?
