Very obnoxious here in Houston during the FQP weekend but I am not hearing
it this evening. I thought it might be something local. Inside the house or
just down the street since it was so loud.

Some of the guys up here in Seattle area are hearing a tunable noise
thats on and off for 3 seconds at a time. It seems to be every 20 khz up
and down
the band and has been heard down to 10mhz and up to 15mhz... its about S6
and a real hinderance to CONTESTING (had to get that word in there somehow
to make
this post). Anyone else hearing it?  doesnt seem to be very directional,
and have heard it
at different times of the day and night.
