The network dupe filters can easily handle those situations.  Many nodes
only allow one spot per station within some frequency limit and some
time limit, say 10 or 15 minutes.  So to get a new spot out for yourself
you have to qsy or wait for the timeout anyway.  That is why some of the
self spots that are put in never get distributed, the self spotters are
trying to do it too fast and get blocked... I don't think dxsummit has a
time limit, but the nodes that receive the spots from it do.
