I'm stunned by this news.  Like many of us, I never met Bill face-to-face, 
but we used to chase DX together on 80m CW, and I frequently found myself 
near him during contests.  He was always a gentleman and a competitor, 
never just a competitor.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
