I'm not so sure, or better to say I disagree.
Any qso made on different bands with the purpose to increase contest
score is obviously out of SB rule, and this independently by the used
call.
But also qsos on different bands can give direct and indirect helps
when the used call is the same.
Beeing the same call present on multiple bands at the same time
greatly enforces the above situation and makes multiple SB using the
same callsign not acceptable.
Unless I missed something, I think Jim is fully right in his complaint.
(following the trend to tailor contest under own
envirtonment/circumstances/hardware, shall now someone ask for a
multiple SB category? )
