In retrospect, I was out of line with my reply to the original email.
Yes, the contest was over but not the log deadline.  I was guilty myself
two years ago in asking a similar type of question and got gently
admonished by my club buddies.  Trying to be helpful...sorry.

No offence taken but if this starts to get epidemic so everybody
asks the contest exchanges outside the contest, that is not
in our target setting for the hobby...
