As long as it's not so fast that all of the elements blur together.  I
had a couple of stations that I just skipped during ARRL DX CW because
the only thing I could ever copy for their exchange was a pair of short
buzzes (one for signal report, one for power).  I could hardly
distinguish dahs, let alone dits.  As a bedsprings brigade contester,
I'll hang in there a bit trying to copy code that's a little over my
usual speed, as my station limitations don't generally give me a high
rate anyhow, but when whole characters start sounding like dits (I
exaggerate only slightly), I'll just move on to the next signal.
