[CQ-Contest] Source for ICE 419 Filters

Hi Jim,

My ICE419 arrived last week after a long wait (I placed my order with
Array Solutions on May 6, 2004). When I called ICE several weeks ago
to check on the order, the guy I spoke with said they were ready to build a
bunch of them that week. He also said that they had a huge backlog of
product orders for the US/VE field day event, but that they had every
intention of clearling their backlog and getting everyone their stuff well
before the contest weekend. I was skeptical thinking that he was just
telling me what I wanted to hear, but sure enough last week (Friday I
think it was) the ICE419 arrived.

I would try calling the ICE factory directly. They should be able to
check on the status of your order. I think Jay just takes orders
for them (they shipped my unit directly from the factory).
BTW, the guy I spoke with at ICE told me that ICE management
"hates" the ICE419. He didn't say why, but perhaps they aren't
making much money on them (its pretty cheap compared to some
of the other bandpass filters out there). Anyway, I won't be
surprised if the 419 gets discontinued. The ICE phone numbers
