I see two issues here.

1. Create another category so more folks have a chance at wallpaper

2. a way to run a contest "seriously" without killing your weekend (and p=
utting other parts of your life in jeopardy) and still have stations to c=
ompare yourself to.

If we add a 24 hour category for those who can't put in 24 hours due to l=
ife's restraits, why not a CC&R category for all of us restricted by that=
 - or a single element on every band category for those whith no tower? =
Where does it stop if we make this new category?

I'm a big proponent of publishing as much information as possible with th=
e score results (i.e. hours worked, basic station descreption etc.). Thi=
s would allow competetors to look at results from similarly equiped stati=
ons who worked a similar number of hours and see how they faired in compa=
rison. This doesn't add another category that could be won, but frankly =
my shack is in the basement wtih cement walls, and it's hard to put up pl=
aques on that stuff!
