I wonder if you guys are imagining things. I never have had anyone 
respond with a 10-code on HF.

There's no reason for this "CB Anxiety" any more. CB isn't the 
phenomenon it was 25 years ago. There aren't huge hordes of unwashed 
CBers pounding at the gate waiting to get into ham radio. There haven't 
been for over 10 years.
