Every year this is suggested, and every year it is a bad idea.

We already have a contest that allows one QSO per station per band, 
along with mults per band. It is called the North American QSO Party. 
SS does not need to be a longer NAQP.

SS is challenging the way it is. There's no need to "fix" it, since it 
isn't broken.

Yes, because it would be.
