Back in the 60s (okay, okay, that immediately tosses me into old fart
status), when Dayton (all of it) was held at a hotel downtown, people
complained.

People do that.

At the same time, Gestalt Therapy was "hip" and "cool" and a popular
approach to problem-solving. A popular Fritz Perls poster ended with
this line:
"...grant me the courage to change the things I can change
The serenity to accept those I cannot change
And the wisdom to know the difference."

Obviously, we can't change the situation, the status, or the scenario.
Try to see the advantages (K1AR detailed some of them) and remain upbeat
about the event. Or as W3ZZ likes to say, "Stop whining."
(Gene may have been a Gestalt advocate--he likes to cut to the chase.)

It'll be a great experience DESPITE all of these so-called pressures,
limitations, hassles, et cetera...if you allow it to be...

CU there!
