Hello,

Some days ago I sent a letter about the CQWW results. I got soem
answers. First of all I got an e-mail from Bob K3EST. Now we know that
in the case of SN3A there was a problem on our side. Bogdan SP3RBR did
not give his personal call in the Cabrillo file. That is why he was not
mentioned as the operator in the results. Sometimes we are too
unpatient - sorry Bob, and thanks for your letter.
It is also a caution for all of us: check your Cabrillo file carefully
befor sending it to the organizers.

I also got an e-mail from Dave K4JRB (CQ 160 Contests Director) who let
me know that he had problems with some Polish contest calls as
operators were not mentioned in the logs. I suppose there are similar
situations in other contest. I am editing Polish bulletin "CQDX"
(internet, PDF edition) and if contest organizers have any problems
with Polish calls, they can contact directly me. I will try to help.

In the end about publishing of the results... I was asked about the
source of the CQ WW CW results. To say the truth - I saw a PDF file
showing that results. I don't know what is the source of information.
The CQ WW CW results will be published in the September CQ. It means
they are ready now. Someone has the results file.

I believe that the CQ WW results - prepared for publishing - are also
almost ready to be processed and transformed into a datbase. Then you
can do anything you want with them. Thet is waht we did in Poland with
the SP DX Contest results. I think it is a very good idea. All time
records are automatically generated, you can haev some statistical data
and you can search you call for all years (which are in the database).
the results of the Russian DX Contest are also in a DB and I believe
other contest results also.
