my way is prayer and fasting. i eat no food and drink copious amounts of
bottled water (no running water in the shack)
i look at contests, like i look at chess and baseball
none of the above will get you in shape, but being in shape really helps
you out
running a stick (log plus dupe sheet), a straight key, a VFO, two
receiver tuning knobs and a send/receive switch requires one to be in
quite good shape to stay up with the competition...............
