I finally found a reference to the article - it was published
in the March/April 2003 issue of National Contest Journal
(NCJ) - "Choosing a New Radio: Which 'MP Would it Be?" by
VE1OP. Unfortunately, I can't find my copy of that issue of
the magazine!

It's here somewhere.
